The Path to Success is Closer than you Think

Hey friend.

Are you looking for success on this planet that is unmatched and unparalleled?

Start here.

Please your parents.

And if they are not here with us, I am sorry. In that case try family or those that are so close that they may basically be family.

This is the shortcut no one talks about.

Pleasing your parents is not separate from pleasing your Lord.

It is connected.

So when you please them.

You are, by extension, pleasing your Creator.

And when you please your Creator.

Watch how blessings find you.

Watch how doors open without you forcing them.

Watch how mercy chases you.

I guarantee it.

So how do we please our parents?

First.

When they speak.

Sit down.

And listen.

Really listen.

They are speaking from many years if not decades of lived experience.

From mistakes you haven’t made yet.

From wisdom paid for with time.

Second.

When you hear something you don’t agree with.

Be gentle.

Don’t pounce.

Don’t say you’re wrong like always.

Listen.

Then pivot softly.

With patience.

With respect.

Third.

Be patient.

Be patient.

Be patient.

Just like God is patient with us.

He gives many of us decades to find our footing.

To learn what life is really about.

To stumble and return.

That same patience is our duty toward our parents.

And fourth.

Extend this courtesy to everyone around you.

This is not weakness.

This is strength.

Because when you please your Creator.

You are walking in nobility.

In purity.

In goodness at its highest form.

So please your parents.

And watch God please you.

In this life.

And the next.
